YERAC has been held annually since 1968. In 1979 was first time it has taken place in Russia (Pushchino). Over 32 years new generation of young radio astronomers is happy to hold it there again. The primary goal of the conference is to provide participants - both scientists and engineers - masters and doctoral students, as well as early-career postdoctoral researchers - the opportunity to present their research, for their first time typically. YERAC covers all aspects of radio astronomy: from the Sun out to the white and wormholes, from stars and planets to the most distant galaxies, using 10 meter single dish and space interferometric techniques, models and theoretical work.
Participation in YERAC is by invitation. Directors (of observatory, institutes, etc) nominate their students, and a letter of support is required.
